Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the famed Detroit River steamship S.S. Ste Claire, which was built in 1910, to catch fire on Friday. The steamship carried passengers from Detroit across the Canadian border to Boblo Island Amusement Park on Bois Blanc Island near Amherstburg, Ont. from 1898 until the park’s close in 1993.
