PVNCCDSB celebrates enhancement to welding program

There’s been a $650,000 enhancement to the PVNC Catholic District School Board’s welding program.
15 staff members were the first to try out these new booths today at St. Peter Catholic Secondary School in Peterborough.
The Canadian Welding Bureau foundation helped to fund the new equipment, and also offered to train staff.
Student Success Consultant, Alex Duketow, says the initiative came from the students interest in the industry.
