More than 13,000 migrants, including pregnant women and children, have been left in the Sahara Desert without any food or water, according to The Associated Press. The report states that Algeria is leaving people there to fend for themselves, with some braving a 15-kilometer walk from Point Zero in Algeria to Assamaka in Niger.
