When addressing concerns over Canadian tariffs on Asian steel producers, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that he will always stand up for Canadian workers when it comes to irresponsible trade practices by others. Trudeau added that he didn’t want to bring in retaliatory measures against the U.S. but because they had imposed tariffs, Canada couldn’t back down.
