Freeland says ‘ad hominem attacks’ from U.S. are not appropriate

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland said Sunday that Canada does not believe “ad hominem attacks are a particularly appropriate or useful way to conduct our relations” with other countries, speaking to recent comments by Trump administration officials directed at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
