The US Geological Survey (USGS) shared aerial footage on Wednesday showing the ongoing partial collapse of the Halemaumau Crater at the summit of Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano. The USGS said Kilauea’s summit is subsiding because of the withdrawal of magma towards the East Rift Zone.
