Three astronauts departed from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Wednesday for the International Space Station (ISS). The crew, consisting of NASA astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev, and German astronaut Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency, will remain on the ISS for more than five months.
