Edmonton police officer apologizes to family of man who died in police custody

As he stood in court choking back tears, an Edmonton police officer apologized for his role in Trevor Proudman’s death. In 2014, the mentally-ill man died while he was handcuffed in the back of a police van. Now, a fatality inquiry is looking into his death. Fletcher Kent reports.
