More than 100 people attended the Taber Pride event on Saturday in what has been a discouraging 12 months for the LGBTQ community in southern Alberta. Two rainbow flags were allegedly stolen during last year’s event – with the burned remains of one of the flags found shortly after. In January, the town hall voted against allowing the flag to fly at a local park. Kyle Benning has the latest.
