A woman pleaded for help from staff at DeLand Animal Hospital, Florida, on May 25, after suffering abuse at the hands of her boyfriend. A post shared to Facebook by Volusia County Sheriff’s Office shows a note the 28-year-old woman slipped to veterinary staff asking them to call the police because her boyfriend was threatening her with a gun.
