Small-scale commercial drones are crowding out the airspace below 2,000 feet

Large military drones used by the Pentagon typically fly at very high altitudes – far higher than helicopters and commercial or military aircraft. What’s concerning military planners more and more is the airspace below 2,000 feet – airspace that is increasingly being crowded out by bomb-carrying drones.
