Tonight at Trinity United Church, Peterborough-Kawartha candidates and citizens will come together to address the looming threat of climate change.
For Our Grandchildren’s, Guy Hanchet, is one of the hosts for tonight’s meeting.
He says there are 5 topics selected, and each topic will be stationed at a separate table.
The topics are “The Local Economy and Climate Change”, “Natural Spaces and Biodiversity”, “Agriculture and Food”, “CO2 Emission Reduction”, and “A youth topic”.
Hanchet says, so far, every candidate in the area has said they’re attending except PC’s Dave Smith.
