On Thursday, Pakistan’s military said it killed a senior member of an Islamist militant group, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi(LeJ), and two would-be suicide bombers in a raid in Quetta. Later in the day, they also killed five bombers who tried to mount a revenge suicide attack on a military facility in the city.
