Rain pouring down in the Dilworth Mountain area in Kelowna. Environment Canada says 22.1 mm of rain fell at the Kelowna Airport between 3 a.m. and noon on Thursday.
That is more than half the amount of rain that’s normally received in the entire month of May. On average 39.2 mm falls in May, and this rain event represents 56 percent of that.
