Half of all Great Barrier Reef’s coral has died since 2016

A failure to address climate change will lead to a dramatically smaller Greet Barrier Reef, Australian scientists said on Thursday, following a report detailing the extent of the damage from record sea temperatures around the World Heritage Site in 2016.
