Flood risk in Peterborough being evaluated by city Emergency & Risk Management department

While the community is dealing with the weekend’s freezing rain , sleet and rain, the city is looking to the days and weeks AHEAD and the risk of flooding. Floods are among the most frequent and costly natural disasters in Canada. DeNoble encourages vigilance for homeowners and residents in emergency preparedness, from emergency car kits, personal emergency kits , home/yard awareness and property protection.
