The pastor of the Nipawin Apostolic Church said that the Nipawin Hawks hockey team, who the Humboldt Broncos were to play before the bus was involved in a fatal collision Friday, stayed at the church to support the Broncos’ families with a lot of “sitting beside someone and crying together.”
