April 4, 2018 marks the 50th anniversary since the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. The civil rights leader championed equality throughout most of his life. The Montgomery Bus Boycott, a march in Selma, Alabama and his iconic “I have a dream” speech were just some of his accomplishments in the fight for equality.
