Starting April 1, it will cost Canadians less for some common prescription drugs. Nearly 70 different generic drugs have gone down in price, by as much as 40 per cent, as part of a five-year agreement with the pharmaceutical industry. While the price cut sounds like a good thing for patients, Reid Fiest explains why there are concerns it could make for a supply shortage.
