Fri, Mar 30: Thousands marched through downtown streets for Calgary’s 35th annual Way of the Cross. For Catholics, the annual pilgrimage of prayer commemorates the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. As Sarah Offin reports, Calgary’s bishop hopes it will deliver a universal message, including to Canada’s Indigenous people.
