Riverview Park and Zoo introduces new camel Baika

Meet Baika – the third camel at the Riverview Park and Zoo in Peterborough. She is a one- year-old Bactrian camel named after a lake in Mongolia. She arrived from a zoo in eastern Quebec in November but was in quarantine and training but is settling into her new home. She joins Zaya and Goby which supervisor Steve Thexton says is a bit of a family reunion.
