The Victoria native spent 18 seasons in the NBA with Phoenix, Dallas and the LA Lakers. He was an 8-time all star and won back to back MVP’s in 2005 and 2006. Nash becomes just the 2nd Canadian born player to be elected to the Hall, joining Bob Houbreg in 1987. A formal announcement is expected this weekend.
