Canada and the U.S. expressed differing opinions on food warning labels on Tuesday, with U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer saying they were pushing for measures to limit NAFTA member countries’ ability to affix warning labels, while Canada’s health minister said they would still move ahead with the new labels.
