New report says Atlantic Canada needs to boost immigration and retention rates to address population issues

Wed, Mar 21: Leaders from around Canada area gathered in Fredericton at the Public Policy Forum Atlantic Summit to discuss solutions for the region’s population challenges. As Adrienne South reports, a new report prepared by the Ottawa-based think tank says the key to solving Atlantic Canada’s economic and demographic problems is to boost immigration and retention.
