Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale responded to a Global News investigation that found almost 1,200 foreign criminals living in Canada have avoided deportation, saying the backlog of people awaiting deportation “ballooned” under the previous government, and said the Liberal government has reduced the number of cases.
