It’s been nearly seven years since the civil war in Syria began, and the situation isn’t getting any better. Even though the so-called Islamic State has lost much of its territory in the country, other factions are locked in battles against government forces and foreign militaries. As Mike Armstrong reports, an international push for peace may require a major compromise.
