Canada’s John Morris and Kaitlyn Lawes downed defending world champions Swiss team in the final of the mixed doubles curling on Tuesday to claim a gold medal, while short-track speedskater Kim Boutin captured a bronze medal in the women’s 500 metres at the Winter Olympics.
