Over 25,000 students’ lives in Canada and the U.S. have been changed because of a connection with an elite athlete. The program is called, Classroom Champions, connecting Olympic and Paralympic competitors with classrooms to be year-long mentors to the students. Dawna Friesen explains what impact those relationships are having.
