SpaceX launches the Falcon Heavy, world’s most powerful rocket

Liftoff of the 23-story-tall Falcon Heavy took place 3:45 p.m. ET at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. Propelled by 27 engines, the Falcon Heavy packs more than 5 million pounds of thrust.
