You can find Peterborough’s deputy police chief on the corner of King and George tonight, taking a stand against homelessness.
Tim Farquharson will be out from 4 this afternoon to 4 Saturday morning, raising awareness and collecting donations.
All proceeds and food donations will go towards the Brock Mission Shelter, the Warming Room, and the YES Shelter.
Farquharson joined us today on the morning show. He says while the city is doing a great job trying to accommodate the large homeless population – more can always be done.
