It was a year of floods and fires, but that doesn’t appear to have stopped people from coming to the Okanagan. Nearly 2 million people walked through the doors of Kelowna’s airport last year, and that is many more passengers than some airports see at cities twice Kelowna’s size. With another record year on the books, Jules Knox takes a closer look at the future of the airport and where our tourism industry is headed.
