Kelowna councillor questions why new public washrooms will cost $675,000

They’ll be bigger and better but they won’t come cheap. Kelowna city council has given the go-ahead to build new washroom facilities at a popular lake-front park. Just one councillor was not in favour. Charlie Hodge doesn’t understand why the project will almost $700,000. But the city’s parks and buildings planning manager defends the expense.
