Global Okanagan reflects on 60 years of covering agriculture news in the valley

The Okanagan has been growing since Global Okanagan went on the air as CHBC Television in 1957.

Local farmers have been growing apples, cherries, grapes and tomatoes among the many varieties of fruits and vegetables that love the abundance of heat and sun during the Okanagan summer.

The soil has been a steady source of livelihood and a plentiful bundle of stories we’ve covered for six decades.
