Thu, Dec 21: Up until now, Judy and Wilmot Matthews have anonymously gifted the city millions. Their latest project: The Bentway. A $25-million dollar park under the Gardiner Expressway to give isolated downtown condo dwellers a backyard and somewhere to gather. From a skating rink to an amphitheater, the project aims to create a sense of community in an urban jungle.
