Fresh off a weekend tour in PRHC’s Emergency Room, Dr. Hardy Friesen puts on his PR hat as he prepares to lead the The Peterborough Medical Brigade’s 18th medical mission. Here he reflects on the work completed in Uganda, all the while getting supplies and donations in order for a 4th trip to the Philippines. Five doctors, a dentist, nurses and support staff all pay their own way on a mission to treat patients in developing countries, and in harshest , even dangerous, of regions.
