Every year in Canada, more than $31-billion of perfectly good food is thrown away. It’s a problem this week’s Everyday Hero, Lourdes Juan, wanted to solve. She launched a Foundation in Alberta to salvage perishable food. Dawna Friesen explains how Juan wants to expand the effort nationally.
