New housing to bring Vernon homeless indoors

It’s a major investment for an immense issue. The BC government is spending $11-million to provide housing for dozens of homeless people in Vernon. It’s part of an investment of nearly $300 million to reduce homelessness province wide. As Megan Turcato reports, Wednesday’s announcement had Vernon’s mayor literally singing the praises of the NDP government.
