A babysitter from Hamilton, Ontario is accused of deliberately hurting a 2-month-old baby in her care. Global News has learned that she was previously charged with second-degree murder in the death of another infant. Shelly Kuzyk was found not guilty in that case, but the baby’s family believes her acquittal was thanks in large part to testimony by disgraced pathologist Dr. Charles Smith. Farah Nasser speaks with the families of both children, as well as the investigating officers.
