Travelling on the old Kettle Valley railroad right of way near Kelowna was once a precarious experience. For thousands of visitors every year it meant crossing trestles high above the ground, stepping from one rail tie to the next with no decking or handrails for safety. Today Myra canyon is safer and more accessable, and as Travis Lowe reports the volunteers who helped make that happen have received special recognition.
