Toronto’s Waterfront Marathon and the crowd it brings will inject close to $35 million into the economy, as well as attracting runners from all over the world. This year there has been a significant increase in the number of Mexican runners. As Allison Vuchnich found out, Canada’s reputation as welcoming is a big draw.
