Rival Palestinian factions, Hamas and Fatah, have struck a deal on reconciliation. It’s a big step forward for Palestinian unity, and a small step towards a Palestinian state. Israel doesn’t believe it will lead to greater peace in the Middle East, but as Eric Sorensen reports, for many Palestinians it’s the first hopeful sign they’ve seen in years.
