Mon, Oct 2: A portion of the Trans-Canada Highway between Calgary and Bassano was closed late Monday morning so that snow plows could clear the road. Almost immediately several emergency shelters, including one in Strathmore, were set up to accommodate people with nowhere to go until the storm abated and the highway re-opened. David Boushy reports.
