Former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly spoke to the press Monday in response Sunday night’s shooting in Las Vegas that has killed more than 50 people and injured over 500 others. Kelly called the Vegas shooting the “worst case scenario” and admonished Congress for not passing gun control legislation in the aftermath of previous mass shootings.
