PM Trudeau hopes outrage over Khadr settlement will prevent future governments from violating a Canadian’s rights

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau forcefully defended the government’s decision to settle Omar Khadr’s case saying every Canadian should be outraged because the government violated a Canadian’s fundamental rights and perhaps this anger will help avoid similar situations in the future.
