Kelowna man going to prison after shooting himself during botched robbery

You know it’s a robbery gone bad when the bad guy with the gun accidentally shoots himself in the face. That’s what happened during a home-invasion style robbery in Kelowna. The bungled heist left the gunman without one eye and the bullet is still lodged in his brain. In a plea-bargain deal that negates a two week trial, Walter Daryl Spence is facing a lengthy prison sentence.
