Why journalists venture into the storm

When the warnings about a hurricane start to come in, news organizations make plans to send their teams out. And we can all watch as the weather worsens and reporters keep hanging in there, lashed by the winds and rain. Which leads to questions about why we do it. Why are reporters and crews standing out in conditions we’re telling viewers to avoid? Dawna Friesen reports
