Sustainable building guru Chris Magwood believes the most important number in home construction is “zero”.

With only three green garbage bags of trash left behind, construction of “Zero House” is complete. The sustainable , fossil-fuel free, neutral-electricity- usage modular home is a joint venture between Ryerson University’s Department of Architectural Science and Endeavour Centre, of which Chris Magwood is Director. …even the “power tools” were solar-powered. The public was invited to see the home & have q&a’s with the builders in advance of its move to the EDITdx Expo for Design , Innovation and Technology.
