Retired RN and public educator Diana Charlebois tells the raw truth of her diagnosis of ovarian cancer in January 2017 during a checkup prior to a vacation. She explains her current state of health and mind amidst chemotherapy treatment and in face of the fact that 50% of women with ovarian cancer don’t survive 5 years past diagnosis. Her plea is for funds and support for Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope Peterborough, to among other things find a screening test for ovarian cancer.
