Addiction group turns down request from Alberta’s associate health minister to speak at Calgary event

Sat, Aug 26: Calgary’s International Overdose Awareness Day is scheduled to take place at City Hall on August 31. There will be guest speakers, including many people who have struggled with addictions. But one person who is not expected to give a speech is Alberta’s associate health minister Brandy Payne.
