U.S. wants Japan to help ‘calm down’ tensions with North Korea: U.S. Ambassador

The United States wants to work with Japan to “calm the rhetoric” over North Korea, new U.S. ambassador to Japan William Hagerty said on Friday after meeting Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for the first time.
